Booze and cigarettes are always something that we got our dad since we were little children. When we were minors and couldn't buy alcohol, our dad would send us to the liquor store and make us get cigarettes for Father's Day. "Here dad, this will help you die faster!" It always seemed a little weird to get him ciggies as gifts, but we did it for years. And come to think of it, I'm surprised no-one ever said anything about us kids buying cigarettes. Now that I'm older, everytime we ask our dad what he wants for Father's Day, it's scotch and only 2 kinds: Chivas Regal and Crown Royal. He prefers the Chivas a little more. The past few years he added a navy blue Polo shirt to his repertoire of desired gifts, but he always appreciates a good scotch. We(they, since I had already eaten) had dinner and we drank some scotch and coke afterwards. We had some fruit too from edible arrangements. The whole family was watching the basketball finals game during dinner, so it was appropriate I got a fruit arrangement with a basketball theme.
